Lifecycle

one persistent page matures through states
Every project keeps one persistent page for life. Its lifecycle moves through Pre-Launch → Live → Ready to Graduate → Graduated, and the page always states which of these is current — with an as-of wherever the state comes from an earlier observation.
Dormant · low recent activity is an overlay, not a lifecycle state: it describes recent activity and never delists a project or erases its history.

Launch structures

six ways in · one economics
Open Launch, Shadow Start, Community First, Scheduled Premiere, Established Launch and Custom Launch differ in how a launch is prepared and revealed — never in economics. Same economics everywhere: every structure lands on the same frozen V1 curve, fees and graduation rules.
A Shadow Start keeps the future token address private before reveal; at reveal the economics are public — allocations, vesting, and fee routing.

Bonding curve & graduation

frozen V1 rules
Tokens trade on a bonding curve until the curve's net reserve reaches its fixed completion threshold. Completion halts curve trading; graduation is permissionless from there — anyone can trigger it wherever the pinned venue exists. That is lifecycle state, not investment advice.
Every trade review shows the frozen protocol quote — including the minimum received, which the program enforces on-chain — and warnings come from the protocol interface word for word.

Liquidity & treasuries

separate pools, separate purposes
Permanent Liquidity: at graduation, liquidity is locked creator-non-withdrawable under protocol control.
The Development Treasury (creator-side, vesting with cliffs) and the Market Reserve (protocol-side) are separate pools with separate purposes — one is never presented as the other.

Three trust systems — kept separate

Project Grade is about project quality. Creator Score reflects the published creator-history methodology. Market Health is a set of named diagnostics with text state and timestamps. They are three separate readings — MarketBorn never blends them into one score, one badge, or one signal.

X Connected Attestation Recorded are connection facts; Established Creator describes completed MarketBorn launch history; New Creator — Unmeasured means exactly that. Neither connection fact is identity verification, and neither is an endorsement. A project whose creator has not linked is shown as Creator Not Linked — a statement, not a judgement.

Sponsored placement

always separated, always labeled
Paid placement is container-separated from organic discovery and always labeled Sponsored. Payment never changes a Project Grade, a Creator Score, Market Health, or where a project appears organically.

Environment truth

stated on every surface
When this application runs against a test cluster, that fact is shown on the shell itself and on operating surfaces. Test-environment outcomes are labeled as such and are never presented as production results.
No Project Grade has been published — No Project Grade has ever been published. No methodology is published and publication is not authorized.

What a Project Grade is meant to represent

An assessment of a project against a published methodology — how it was set up, what it disclosed, and what it can be checked on.

It is not investment advice, not a prediction, and not a statement about what a token will be worth. A grade says nothing about whether a project will succeed.

What a grade will never carry

  • a composite numeric score
  • factor weights
  • a readiness percentage
  • commitment scoring as active
  • a predicted or future grade
  • a comparison ranking against other projects

Assessment states

A project is not always gradeable, and the reasons differ. Not yet measured means there is not enough observed information. Not assessed means the conditions for an assessment are not met.

Assessment unavailable means MarketBorn could not read what it needs — that is a limitation on our side, and it is never presented as a finding about the project.

An absent grade is never shown as a low grade, and uncertainty is never rounded into a letter.

Methodology and versioning

Every grade carries the methodology version that produced it and the moment it was evaluated.

Methodologies change. When one does, past grades keep the version and information that produced them — they are never quietly recalculated under a newer method.

A grade's history says whether a change followed the project's own information, followed a methodology update, or followed both. When both moved, MarketBorn says so rather than picking the more convenient explanation.

Freshness

An assessment describes the information available when it was evaluated, and that reading can age.

A stale reading is labelled stale. MarketBorn does not present an old assessment as a current one, and does not fill a gap with the last value it happens to hold.

Corrections and appeals

A correction says a fact MarketBorn recorded is wrong. An appeal says the fact is right but the conclusion drawn from it is wrong. They are handled separately, because checking a fact again cannot answer a disagreement about a conclusion.

Using either will never count against a project. Filing produces no mark, no flag and no effect on any assessment, whatever the outcome.

Neither route can be used yet. Until they can, MarketBorn publishes no adverse assessment about any project — a finding you have no way to challenge is not a finding worth publishing.

Not yet available — The corrections and appeals process is still being built and cannot be used yet.

Current limitations

MarketBorn is not currently grading projects. No methodology is published, no Project Grade has ever been issued, and the assessment engine is still being built.

Project commitments are being designed as a possible future part of the method. They contribute to nothing today.

This page will change as that changes, and it describes what exists rather than what is planned.

Project commitments

Commitment tracking is being designed. It does not contribute to any published assessment, and no assessment is published.

The design rule is that a project which says nothing is measured the same way as a project which commits to everything. Staying quiet is never the better move, and a commitment MarketBorn cannot objectively check is not counted against anyone.

Creator Score

A separate measure of a creator's history across projects. It is never merged into a Project Grade, and a project is never graded on who launched it.

A creator with no history is shown as unmeasured. That is a statement about MarketBorn's information, not about them.

Market Health

Named market diagnostics, shown individually and never combined into a single indicator. Each says what it measured and when.

A diagnostic MarketBorn cannot read is shown as unavailable rather than as a reassuring value.
